About the event

In this event we will see how AI is changing the world of cybersecurity specifically with respect to malware. We will consider ways that AI may be used to generate new forms of malware including a brief review of the recent paper on Morris II, where researchers built a "worm designed to target GenAI ecosystems through the use of adversarial self-replicating prompts." We will also look at the latest advancements in detecting malware with deep learning including a new approach using visual features and CNN's, as well as approaches based on LSTM architecture and a GAN training paradigm.
